2027 CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL PLAY GRANT APPLICATION

The Toy Foundation™ (TTF) works to bring the power of play to hospitals helping comfort children who need it most.

TTF distributes play grants annually to children’s hospitals and healthcare facilities that serve economically disadvantaged communities. From upgrading playrooms to sensory mobile carts, and providing medical play, among others, TTF has provided play to more than 1 million children in need.

Awarded play grants will: 

  • Impact infants, children, and/or teens
  • Be distributed to hospitals and health systems in the United States
  • Support play-based projects and activities taking place in the 2026 calendar year
  • Range from $5,000 to $25,000 based on the project and need.  

Toy donations can be coordinated with hospitals and facilities year-round as TTF is able.

This application is comprised of five sections: background information; project narrative; project criteria; assurances; and additional opportunities.

Timeline:

  • September 28, 2026 – Application available
  • November 2, 2026 – Deadline to submit application
  • December 14-18, 2026 – Grantees notified
  • February-July 2027 – Funds distributed
